First North American shake down at APEX Motor Club in Arizona.
After taking delivery of the first Hyper Racer X1's for public consumption in North America, the cars wasted no time getting on track.
With the first car successfully delivered to a delighted driver-client in Los Angeles, chassis #35 made it's way to Arizona. At the first opportunity is was off to the fist track shakedown at APEX Motorsports Park just outside Phoenix, Arizona on a cool day in February. Leading the effort was Kai Goddard, the South African founder of the national driver coaching firm Track Rekord. Also taking the wheel was his top, local instructor, Steve Kimpton. APEX proved to be a fantastic testing ground for day 1 and allowed the team to explore all aspects of what is sure to set records across the continent.
